Uptown FKC

Blackline was selected through a competitive bid process to build this 7,300 SF kidney dialysis clinic in the historical district of Uptown New Orleans. The single-story building was constructed on a pile-supported foundation, and is characterized by structural steel and light gauge metal framing with a brick and stucco façade. The architect enlisted a parapet wall to conceal a flat mechanical well roofed with a PVC membrane. Along with the unique exterior design elements of the building, extensive site work, landscaping, and fencing were required to meet the special requirements of the historical district review.
